Wara From the NBHD – Scrilla

We got Wara giving it to us again with the mosh pit inducing Scrilla. (or so we heard, we didn’t get to make it out to the #CrossFadedTour) In similar fashion to what we have been hearing from him as of recent this too is a Wara production. This is most definitely going to aid in the cohesive feel that KIDNAPPED will more than likely have. Do we have a date on this yet? Not sure but I would love to ride around to this while it’s still hot out. @warafromthenbhd

Wara from the NBHD – SQUEAL (Visual)

If you missed it HERE is what we had to about the Audio! We got SQUEAL visuals here from Wara from the NBHD’s Kidnapped shot by Wes Sherwin. (responsible for Wara’s 98′ Rocafella) These visuals are dope but what may be even more so. This tweet from Wara. raW x Wara SQUEEL Cryptic Right? Can’t wait to see what this means! Someone get me a P4K Hoodie! LOL! @warafromthenhd / @WesSherwinMedia

Wara From the NBHD – Squeal (Peel Off)

I think the primary thing that needs to be stated on the entry is PRODUCED BY MOTHER EFFING WARA FROM THE NBHD! Really though people this beat is truly heavy. Is that live guitar I’m hearing? I know he has been putting in a lot of work lately when it comes to his production as can be seen if you have followed his journey on things such as social networks and what not. I got to witness him at SXSW recently on the Baller’s Eve stage. His performance style is a very chill one. Has a really laid back delivery as you can tell but it got some what aggressive during one song I was not familiar with but am very interested in hearing recorded. Nice work guys S/O to the whole P4K Family @warafromthenbhd

Wara from the NBHD – 98 Rocafella (Dir. Wes Sherwin)

Wara brought the whole crew down to the Dojo for this one. I feel like we are keeping with a New York theme with these last 2 posts. I really dig this one. It almost reminds me of a toned down version of earlier Busta Rhymes visuals. Maybe a little less toony but still with a feel that is not the casual day in the life visuals most artist tend to go for. It looks to me to have a little Tarantino maybe Wes Anderson feel in this one. Not completely sure I’m not a true film buff. My only criticism is I wish it was longer. Maybe a little hand to hand. It just seems like it’s over so quickly but maybe that a testament to how entertaining Larry and Left Hand Mitch are. Nice work Wes Sherwin. S/O to the Playin’ For Keeps crew. @warafromthenbhd / @larry_marcel / @LEFTHANDMITCH

Wara From The NBHD & iNDEED – LMRPT2 Jam Session

Very rare that we get to see a raw jam session from a hip hop artist now a days but we do know that Wara has always had a thing for live instrumentation and who better than iNDEED to back him. LMRPT2 (the acronym standing for Let Me Ride Part 2) was originally produced by Snubnose Frankenstein who is slowly becoming one of my favorite producers of the scene (He’s got a little rapper in him too so beware.) Wonder if this will be on Ill Street Blues II (not even sure if that’s the name of his next effort or if I just made that up.) SideNote: Prowled my way into the GO! RICKY GO! listening party for Dick Brown’s Tall Tails of Foxy Cotton Tail the other day at Threadz boutique and I was extremely impressed with what I heard. Really great stuff. It’s kind of cool to see that the INDEED artist can hold there own separately as well. A rare feat for a band. S/O to the whole Playin For Keeps Family. @warafromthenbhd / @iNDEEDface / @snubdogg / @GORICKYGO / @WaltLive

Wara from the NBHD – BELLY (Dir. Kyle Drew)

Just now getting a chance to post this but gotta give love to the boy Wara and his rise. Really wish he got a chance to go on at the cut short Free Milk but it’s all good I know there will be plenty of chances to see the Brockett Road boy. This is the second visual for Ill Street Blues if you count the previous early release of Menace to Society but I guess that would be for the hardcore fans. Also we must must must give a shout out to long time homie and director Kyle Drew of Drew & Co. Very nice work on the visuals. @warafromthenbhd / @drewandcofilms
