Key! & ManManSavage – Trap Money

Key! & ManManSavage bring out the Lucid twins for this Father Are The Curse visual for Trap Money. Really the twins give the video the little umph! it needs to bring it from being somewhat regular to art. Very cool juxtaposition. I really dig the ManMan x Key! collabs. You really do get a chance to see how chill Key! is in comparison to ManMan’s Savage and I can really dig that dynamic. @FATMANKEY / @ManManSavage100

Father – Look At Wrist feat. iLoveMakonnen & Key!

I have never heard of Father before this so I must say that Key! brought me here but Oh My Guh! this track goes so hard! And I’m still new to iLoveMakonnen but he really went in on this one. This is the epitome of chill. This is also one of those times where I really feel like the mainstream needs to start to recognize that Rap is a multi genre art form now. I mean really. Artist such as Key! & iLoveMakonnen really are kind of sitting in a genre of their own but if they were to be nomitated for a Grammy they would bunch them in with every other rapper. Just saying. Really dope stuff. Definitely a new fan. @FatherAintShit / @iLoveMakonnen / @FATMANKEY

Two-9 – Money Counter

In celebration of their new EarDruma/Interscope signing Two9 gives us Money Counter. More banger style mosh pit music but this one is all Jace it seems like for this roulette (correct me if I’m wrong.) Production taken care of by Charlie Heat. I would definitely like to see if they are going to do any more of their own production at this point. Not sure what the protocol is when ones budget grows exponentially. Dopeness once again from the Two9 camp and I’m sure this one will fit in nicely with their ready to perform catalog. @Two9

Key! – Paper feat. Curtis Williams + Chip

Long awaited & probably something people thought they would never see again! Key! & Curtis Williams together on record again. Right or wrong everyone had their thoughts on why Key! (1/2 Founder of Two9) would leave the rising collective that he had such powerful part in the creation of’s success just before it seemed as thought they were about to blow. Regardless we have new music! Chip along for the ride as well and this sounds like the original reason everybody was down to rep the gang. @FATHMANKEY / @ThatBoyCurtis

Wara from the NBHD – RAW feat. Grande Marshall

You can tell Wara is proud of his production when he gets Kanye West indulgent near the end of this and just lets the beat play for a full minute plus. LOL. I love it. This KIDNAPPED is really turning out to be something crazy. I’m just going to wait for this one to drop and not try to speculate what I think it’s going to sound like but I will say this. It’s does give that early Jay/Pusha feel. S/O to the Playin’ Four Keeps family. Give me some apparel! @warafromthenbhd

Rome Fortune – Trap Lady

Trippy! Rome Fortune with another genre bender. This one a collaboration with SuicideYear. Also it comes with the description of 1 of ? which means this could be another collaborative project in the making as we know they are back in the studio working on something else. I have a strong feeling we are about to see some kind of break out from Rome that puts him in a completely different position. If it happens before the end of the year then you can say we called it. @romefortune

Scotty ATL on Sway in the Morning

Scotty is basically a hit away and it’s been a long road but we are super excited about Spaghetti Junction. We have always supported the boy Scotty so we can’t wait to hear what this new project sounds like. I have been wondering if he is going to take on a new sound or continue with his tried and true. Sure we’ll know soon enough. SideNote: WHO THE HELL WAS HE TALKING ABOUT! I’m as intrigued as Sway. Maybe even more so being an Atlanta native has me looking around like “which one of you guys crossed Scotty?” @ScottyATL

Key! – Geeking feat. iLoveMakonnen

Oh My God how did this song slip under our radar? Well it matters not now because it’s probably my new favorite song. It’s basically pure Key! with production by Dexter but also an iLoveMakonnen feature which is an artist whose name I have seen pop up lately but never actually took the time to give a listen to. That’ll definitely change now. I really dig his flow which reminded me of Slick Rick or Digital Underground. (I actually tried to look him up to see what he looked like but could only find pictures of what seemed to be a decapitated manikin head.) Again we must have been sleeping because this one flew right by us. @FATMANKEY / @iLoveMakonnen

ManManSavage – Just A Dream

This is one from the inbox for you guys. ManManSavage long time collaborator and fellow OpB (Outta Pocket Boy) to Key! is giving us a visual to Just A Dream from his up coming project “Free ManMan Savage” (love the title) I also really dig the audio and visual. I expected to seeing as this seems to be Key! right hand man as of late. S/O to KeiOpensDoors for the heads up. @manmansavage100

Rocksmith Presents: Two-9 “Everything”

As I believe I have stated before if not on this site in conversation with friends Two-9 is about to put it’s cards on the table and this video looks like the beginning of that. A video cosign by Rocksmith and make no mistake. This is a VIDEO! A true production. You wont be seeing much like this coming from and unsigned artist. I mean they have flaming eyeballs for crying out load! (except not on the WorldStarHipHop version for some reason that could only be time restraints) Okay so just as most “Two-9” songs go you’re basically given a roulette style of play as far as who you’re actually getting on the audio and as of late (possibly do to the exclusion of Key!) their go to combination seems to be Curtis Williams and Jace of Retro Sushi. Possibly a choice based on Curtis’ popularity and Jace being somewhat more lyrical than his Two9 counterparts. Either way they make a pretty dope collaborative force and this visual most definitely does the Two9 imprint justice. SideNote: I have seen in many a comment section that people don’t like the little voice that comes on near the beginning and throughout some of the audio in the background. I loved the voice. I kind of thought it made the song. It’s definitely what made me remember it. @Two9
