Scotty – OTR2SJ (Scion AV)

Scotty (or ScottyATL as he is known outside the city) just released a small project as a precursor to his upcoming Spaghetti Junction entitled OTR2SJ (On The Road 2 Spaghetti Junction) and even with it’s short length it does not disappoint. Scotty as you would expect of an artist of his caliber in the scene brings some star power in Killer Mike & Rich the Kid. Now if he played those cards for a prequel to an album I wonder what the actual project has in store. More than likely we will still see the majority of the project produced by DJ Burn One which to us is a good thing as his production compliments Scotty well. As most things that Scotty does and the way he delivers things it all feels important. Maybe it’s just a true southern thing. @ScottyATL

Key! x OG Maco – Give Them Hell

I had too much fun with this one! Really crazy project from two great guys. Key! most of you have heard of of course but OG Maco is a fairly new break out this summer even though he has been part of the scene for quite some time. As stated by one fan on twitter “this shit make you want to punch somebody!” and that it does. It’s still what you know and love from Key! and OG Maco brings that same feel of a “street” guy who listens to more than just “street” music. U Guessed It had me dying! It’s an extremely aggressive audio cut that simply hilarious in it’s straight forwardness with who I assume to Maco yelling “You Guessed It!” at the top of his lounges in the angriest way possible. Now if this doesn’t make you laugh out loud AND want to punch someone then we can’t be friends. @FATMANKEY / @OGxMACO

J.I.D x Money Makin’ Nique – Lucky Buddha

If you live in Atlanta and you have a habit of staying up late then you know exactly where the project draws it’s name from. J.I.D and Nique go to work on the project which we hear came together in the course of 48 hours with the aid of the FAM. They also bring in Spillage Village teammates EarthGang and also Marian Mereba along for the ride. I love how even though they new it was going to be a short project the still have the audacity to give us a true intro. No rapping just a real introduction to the project. This is really cool stuff and we seem to be seeing a lot of collaborative projects coming out of the scene the summer and I like it. It just seems like everybody is having a lot of fun. @SlickSixJid / mOneyMakinNique

The Illimitable Table (Season 1)

Now when it comes to ambitious women in the scene this young lady Shelly Nicole has bitten off a lot but with the release of her first season of The Illimitable Table I think she is proving that she can also chew. I mean this looks like a pretty large undertaking. It’s really impressive. Dare I say Oprah-esque. I mean what other young lady in the scene has decided to start her own talk show. Make no mistake about it. This definitely feels like something larger than a string of interviews and we’re really excited to see where this leads. Check the other episodes after the jump. Wara from the NBHD – Beige

This just broadened Wara a whole hell of a lot! I mean this is a very different sound than what we are used to hearing from him while still sounding similar and not to far off. I mean he really did do something really cool here. It’s a feel good track about crack. In the words of the legendary crack rapper himself “That’s rare nigga!” – Pusha T @warafromthenbhd

CLASSIK: Season 5 (New Wave)

I can get down with this! I’m really feeling CLASSIK’s new direction. Especially the collaborative pieces done with Atlanta visual artist Chris Wilkins. I would love to see more collaborations from these guy. I really feel like the thatsCLASSIK brand is coming into it’s own. I can’t wait to see what they are going to have in store when it gets cold and hoodie season comes back around! I really see progression in this line. @thatsCLASSIK

Retro Su$h! – Mary Jace

You can always count on Retro Su$h! to bring something a little different to the Two9 camp and this seemingly drug induced outing is no exception. Really dope the way they did this. I would definitely like to know if that is Ceej singing in the background. Also, are we actually going to ever get any PTA Apparel or is that just for the homies!? S/O the whole Two9 family. @RetroSushi / @Two9Ceej / @RetroJace / @Two9

Rome Fortune – THE NIGHT feat. Childish Major

We got Rome with some slickness off of his upcoming Small VVorld LP. he comes with the aid of Childish Major on the vocals this time. I’m really looking forward to what this project could be. When it comes to Rome and his sound it really is no telling. He could left field us at any moment. That’s why we dig him though. S/O to the whole Cowboy Pimpin’ @romefortune
