Rome Fortune x OG Maco – YEP

The Atlanta eclectic Rome Fortune & the U Guessed It rapper OG Maco have teamed up to bring us a project of bravado entitled YEP. Rome had this to say to FADER, “We wanted to show our versatility and simply show that our paths to superstardom are inevitable. All you can say now is ‘Yep,'”. The versatility is all here. Both artist lend to the idea that they can basically do just about any style to effective measure on the 8 track outing (+ 1 bonus track). This project gets off to a bit of a slow start but amps up really quick. Not to say it had a weak start it’s all of it is club worth just in comparison Jungle feels more turned down than YEP and the tracks that follow. It almost feels like something meant to guide the night. Nice EP to go out to and have you a little turn up session. Dope stuff guys. Crazy color hair everywhere! OGG! @romefortune / @OGMaco

I feel as if Two 9 has been keeping a low profile lately. Maybe to gear up for this next project B4FRVR. Maybe cause they been on tour getting paid. Maybe my ear hasn’t been to the ground enough. I just know they was time when they just ruled my timeline and I feel like these tracks slipped by me. Either way dope stuff. I wonder if this constitutes a small EP. It would make a great one. He spazzes on interview, gets experimental on Party & gives us the basics with Cee Lo. Really dope stuff. Would love to hear what a full length would sound like from this guy. Alkebulan tells us the story of lady assassin that seems to jump from her being a heart breaker to an actual killer depending on which lyrics you pay attention to. Starts of extremely chill and gradually becomes more aggressive as the chorus progresses. Really dope stuff from the Black Clan front man. @Alkbln

P.U.R.E – The Art Of CrossFading
