Key! x OG Maco – Give Them Hell

I had too much fun with this one! Really crazy project from two great guys. Key! most of you have heard of of course but OG Maco is a fairly new break out this summer even though he has been part of the scene for quite some time. As stated by one fan on twitter “this shit make you want to punch somebody!” and that it does. It’s still what you know and love from Key! and OG Maco brings that same feel of a “street” guy who listens to more than just “street” music. U Guessed It had me dying! It’s an extremely aggressive audio cut that simply hilarious in it’s straight forwardness with who I assume to Maco yelling “You Guessed It!” at the top of his lounges in the angriest way possible. Now if this doesn’t make you laugh out loud AND want to punch someone then we can’t be friends. @FATMANKEY / @OGxMACO

J.I.D x Money Makin’ Nique – Lucky Buddha

If you live in Atlanta and you have a habit of staying up late then you know exactly where the project draws it’s name from. J.I.D and Nique go to work on the project which we hear came together in the course of 48 hours with the aid of the FAM. They also bring in Spillage Village teammates EarthGang and also Marian Mereba along for the ride. I love how even though they new it was going to be a short project the still have the audacity to give us a true intro. No rapping just a real introduction to the project. This is really cool stuff and we seem to be seeing a lot of collaborative projects coming out of the scene the summer and I like it. It just seems like everybody is having a lot of fun. @SlickSixJid / mOneyMakinNique

Wara from the NBHD – Beige

This just broadened Wara a whole hell of a lot! I mean this is a very different sound than what we are used to hearing from him while still sounding similar and not to far off. I mean he really did do something really cool here. It’s a feel good track about crack. In the words of the legendary crack rapper himself “That’s rare nigga!” – Pusha T @warafromthenbhd

Retro Su$h! – Mary Jace

You can always count on Retro Su$h! to bring something a little different to the Two9 camp and this seemingly drug induced outing is no exception. Really dope the way they did this. I would definitely like to know if that is Ceej singing in the background. Also, are we actually going to ever get any PTA Apparel or is that just for the homies!? S/O the whole Two9 family. @RetroSushi / @Two9Ceej / @RetroJace / @Two9

Rome Fortune – THE NIGHT feat. Childish Major

We got Rome with some slickness off of his upcoming Small VVorld LP. he comes with the aid of Childish Major on the vocals this time. I’m really looking forward to what this project could be. When it comes to Rome and his sound it really is no telling. He could left field us at any moment. That’s why we dig him though. S/O to the whole Cowboy Pimpin’ @romefortune

Two-9 “Everything” Behind the Scenes

Two9 gives us a little peek at what’s going on behind the scenes of the Everything video directed by Mat Swinsky of Motion Family and they definitely looking like they are pulling out all the stops. This really feels like this is the moment where we are going to see just how wide Two9’s reach really is. @Two9

Wara From the NBHD – Scrilla

We got Wara giving it to us again with the mosh pit inducing Scrilla. (or so we heard, we didn’t get to make it out to the #CrossFadedTour) In similar fashion to what we have been hearing from him as of recent this too is a Wara production. This is most definitely going to aid in the cohesive feel that KIDNAPPED will more than likely have. Do we have a date on this yet? Not sure but I would love to ride around to this while it’s still hot out. @warafromthenbhd

Marian Mereba – September Dir. Nate Edwards

Damn I love this vibe of this. It’s chill but it still has a summertime feel to it. I really feel like I could curl up to this. This really has me pumped for what the next outing from Ms. Mereba could sound like. I like her best over the minimalist sound but who knows what her and her production team have in store. I’m excited either way. And also great work by director Nate Edwards. I believe this is our first time running across his work. Can’t wait to see more. @MarianMereba

Rome Fortune – Drives, Thighs, & Lies

Usually we have a pretty decent wait from the moment Rome debuts the name of a project to when the project actually hits the web. Not this time. This time Rome delivers this Dun Deal collaboration project with the quickness and it comes with a little star power. Young Thug, JunglePussy, and Peewee Longway all make appearances and in good fashion. I will say this one felt like a quick release from Rome. It doesn’t necessarily feel as large as the Beautiful Pimps which is not a bad thing. It just feels more like the side project which I assume it to be. If you’re ever on the site you can probably tell that we are big Rome fans here. With the release of this it makes me wonder even more so, WHY ISN’T ROME ON THE RADIO! We really are getting hit tracks from him and it concerns me to think that stations are on such a payola system that even an undeniable radio smash does not get picked up. (Rant Over) We do see Rome’s star rising though. We understand at least some of his internal industry pull and we are right behind him. We just want to be able to say we called it first. @romefortune
